It is a town in the southwestern Fairfax County, Virginia, United States. It stands at 210 in terms of population according to 2010 census. Established about a century ago, Clifton enjoys much of history to this date. It is considered the first town to be incorporated in the Fairfax County, one of three present. Clifton enjoys much warm-temperate climate with cool winters, hot summers, mild falls and springs.
Kids in the town go to Clifton Elementary School, at their middle and high school level they head to Robinson Secondary School. Points 
of interest in Clifton include parks (Bull Run Marina Regional Park, Chapel Road Park, Clifton Park, Fountainhead Regional Park, Hemlock Overlook Regional Park and Kincheloe Park.

Notable residents of Clifton include Robin Beard (former Tennessee congressman) and Randy Thompson (country singer).
