Haymarket is a town found in Prince William County and it has an approximate population of 1,252 as per 2009 census. The town is the home town of known figures such as Andray Bratche and valley baseball league senators. The land of this two is small with a total of 
1.3km2 which is all land.
Haymarket was developed in the intersection of two main roads which has contributed to its growth. This includes Carolina and Dumfries roads. The area was used by Indian hunters who then abandoned it. Some of the historical sites include St Paul’s Church and three small houses which were left unburned the Union troops in 1862 when they burned all others. The town is now growing and houses and shops are being revived.
